Everyone had a nice time. Editors Jon Garett and Genesis Mickel hosted, and six of our 16 contributing authors represented (Calvin Mickel, Heather Biedermann, Christopher Burg, Cara Schulz, Mark Johnson, and (Peregrinus representative ;-)) Joel Lemke). Each of them read exerpts from their stories and shared with the group their inspirations behind their tales. Couple that with snacks, beer, delicious chocolate cake, book selling, and friendships new and old! We are already looking forward to next year!
What is AgoraFest?
(Acolytes, apprentices, and padawan learners are welcome.) Learning together the art of living free.
AgoraFest is a liberty festival/weekend retreat in the Midwest, with several workshops on DIY subjects (like how to brew your own beer; how to can food; how to build a rocket) and a farmers market vibe (garden produce, homemade jam, roasts and stews made over the fire pit, etc.). The workshops are hands-on demonstrations of tools and techniques that you can learn and use to live free.
